Lee Wakefields Tailbox
Prior to building the Red Zeppelin, Lee built a load capable tailbox for his ICE S that appears very aero. I'm not clear if the red one is a modified version of the white one or if it was a separate one completely, however, here are a bunch of pictures to help show how he did it:

Is it possible the red tailbox got built first? The white version appears to be a more sophisticated design with a top that opens, a bit less material above Lee's shoulders, and it got the fancy reflector stripes.
ReplyDeleteI'm fairly (no pun intended) certain that the white version was his first attempt, and he went on to build the Red Zeppelin. I can't recall for certain, but he might talk about that on the BROL thread.
